<td class="text14"><p>Astacus is one of Europe's biggest laser scanning companies with 10 fully equipped laser scanners. We have the the capacity of scanning normal interiors such as residentials, offices and hospitals of 15.000 sqm per day. Our back office in India takes care of all the registration, color/thermo mapping, 3D modeling and inventory based on the point clouds. Our swedish and german squad team is travelling all over Europe to execute your laser scanning projects. <br />
<br />
<strong>Laserscanning</strong><br />
Laser scanning is a measurement method that uses a laser beam to measure the distance between a laser scanner and an object. The laser scanner is equipped with a mechanism that allows the laser beam sweep over an area and can thus create a point cloud with a large number of points (several million, sometimes billions ...)!<br />
<br />
There are different types of scanners and it is especially two types we use. One type is called pulse-Scanner * is able to measure distances up to 300 meters. A pulse-scanner can measure approximately 50,000 dots per second. The second type of scanner called Phase Scanner * ranges up to about 180 meters. The advantage of a phase-scanner is that it is much faster and scans about 1 million points per second!<br />

<strong>Point cloud registration</strong><br />
We have great experance in point cloud registration. Our big team can register your scans from Leica, Z+F and Faro with exellent accurency.
The biggest project we have registered contains more then 1500 scans giving 2.5 Tb of data.<br />

<strong>Color/thermal</strong> <strong>mapping</strong><br />
Sometimes a color or therminal camera is attached to the scanner. We can help you do the post processing of the point cloud to create an amazing quality based on the point cloud and high definition photos.

<strong>3D modeling</strong><br />
We have more then 100 heavly trained 3D modelers that works in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Microstation e.g. Please give us a scope of work based on your standards and templates and we will deliver with exellent quality in every project. In total we have modeled more then 2 milion square meters!<br />
<br />
<strong>Inventory</strong><br />
Use Notes Online to mark changes in or add notes to drawings or pictures you take with your iPad/iPhone. You can also add symbols which can be linked to various questionnaires used for example when doing an inventory/appraisal. When you are done, you can share your work with your colleagues or send it to us for processing. <br />

If you dont have the manpower to do the inventory your self, we´ll be glad to serve you at any time.
